Of course! Many of our retreaters come on their own. There is such a spirit of love and comradery that you are guaranteed to leave with a tribe full of new friends!

+ WHERE DO I GO WHEN I LAND?
We can arrange for a driver to pick you up from the airport and take you to our location. ($150 per car, up to 3 people)

+ IS GROUND TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?
You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the airport (see above). All transportation durring the event is included in your retreat ticket.
+ SHOULD I GET TRAVEL INSURANCE?

+ TIME ZONES?
Marrakesh is located in the Central European Time Zone (CET). Morocco is ahead of the U.S. by the following times.
PST (Los Angeles): 9 hours
MST (Denver): 8 hours
CST (Dallas): 7 hours
EST (New York): 6 hours.
+ WHAT KIND OF MONEY WILL I NEED?
U.S. Dollars (USD) will not be accepted in Morocco you will need Moroccan Dirham (MAD) for cash to have on hand. The easiest way to do this is to bring a bank card and use an ATM. You’ll find ATMs at the Airport or throughout town. You can also use a money exchange service in Morocco for a small fee. Many banks will also exchange money for you before you leave.
+ WILL MY CREDIT CARD WORK?
Major credit cards especially Visa and Mastercard are also widely accepted. Just make sure your credit card doesn’t charge a foreign transaction fee, those can get pricey.
+ HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BRING?
The amount of money is up to you, all of your main expenses (lodging, food, excursions are included in your retreat ticket) so all you’ll need money for is shopping. 1 U.S. Dollar equals about 9.5 MAD so keep that in mind, your money will go further in Morocco.

+ DO YOU RECORD HEALTH + EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION?
Yes, we will collect health and emergency contact information on our application in case of an emergency.
+ WILL MY PHONE WORK IN MARRAKESH?
If you’d like to contact your family when out and about you can add an international add-on to your cellular plan for the duration of your stay or pick up an inexpensive travel sim card* at the airport, online or at a shop in Marrakesh.
*Note: your phone must be unlocked for you to use a travel sim card.
+ ARE EXCURSIONS INCLUDED?
Yes, all excursions and accommodations will be included in the cost of your ticket!
+ CAN I HAVE A HOTEL BILL FOR EXTRAS?
Yes, If you would like to charge extras you can open a tab with the hotel either with a major credit card or pay with cash.
+ WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

+ IS THERE ACCESS TO LOCAL SHOPPING?
Yes, we will be staying in an amazing part of Marrakesh called Medina with easy access to markets and shopping.
+ DO I NEED AN ADAPTER FOR MY ELECTRONICS?
Electricity in Morocco is 220 volts (vs 110 volts in the U.S.) and uses the standard european socket. You will need a universal adapter like this to charge or power your electronics.
*Please note, because of the voltage difference you may want to invest in a converter like this to charge or use older devices, most new phones and devices will be fine with 220 volts.
+ DO I NEED TO BRING SHAMPOO, LOTION, HAIR DRYER AND A TOWEL?
Shampoo, lotion, soap & towels will be provided. Hair dryers are not available in all rooms so bring your own if you need one.
+ IS THERE A POOL, SAUNA OR HOT TUB?
Yes a pool is on site so bring your suit!
+ DO YOU ACCOMODATE SPECIAL DIETS?
We will have private chefs cooking for us who can adjust dishes to accomodate for vegan, vegetarian & gluten free which should cover most dietary restrictions. Anything past these we would suggest being prepared to provide yourself with suitable options.
+ IS THE WATER SAFE TO DRINK?
The water in Marrakesh is filtered and safe to drink. However bottled watter is readily available and cheap if you prefer this.
+ SHOULD I BRING MY OWN SNACKS?
We will provide a wide variety of delicious and healthy snacks available throughout every day between meals.If you are extremely particular about what you will and won’t eat then we would say it might be a good idea.
+ WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
Historically, the time frame in which we will be there has an average high around 87 and low around 64.
+ WHAT IS THE LANGUAGE SPOKEN? DO PEOPLE SPEAK ENGLISH?
Classical Arabic and French are the official languages spoken. However English is commonly spoken.
